ABSTRACT

The sixth edition of the Bucharest Arbitration Days was held on 5-6 June 2025, under the overarching theme: "Reassessing Access to Justice and Due Process in International Arbitration." The event featured seven thematic panels, including a dedicated session by the Young Romanian Arbitration Practitioners (YRAP), each examining the principle of due process from distinct angles.

The discussions were organised around two main analytical axes. First, the debates focused on the roles of various actors (arbitrators, counsel, experts, and domestic courts) and their respective responsibilities in safeguarding procedural fairness.
