ABSTRACT

The "Take a Seat!" project, launched by the Arbitration Association of Central and Eastern Europe (ArbCEE), is a pioneering initiative aimed at mapping and promoting the arbitration landscapes of 18 Central and Eastern European (CEE) jurisdictions. As the region experiences robust economic growth and increasing cross-border investment, arbitration - already the preferred mechanism for cross-border dispute resolution, is gaining ever greater prominence. The "Take a Seat!" report, coordinated by leading arbitration practitioners and supported by a network of 35 experienced country reporters, is structured around 34 key questions per jurisdiction.
